Altruistic Innovations and TerraVertex Innovation Hub have come together to strengthen the connection between alternative-protein industry experience, biotechnology depth, and practical future-food learning.
Led by Sruthi Sadanand and Dr Yashaswini Balaraju, the partnership brings together more than two decades of combined experience across cultivated meat, plant-based foods, food-tech applications, mycology, molecular protein technologies, biomaterials, sustainability-led innovation, and ecosystem building.

Why this partnership
The collaboration was shaped by a shared observation: students and early-career innovators are often introduced to future-food technologies in theory, but have limited access to the industry context, practical problem statements, and global perspectives needed to understand where they can contribute.
Together, Altruistic Innovations and TerraVertex aim to build more relevant pathways through industry-led conversations, technical insights, real-world challenges, and learning experiences that connect science with application.
Beginning in India with a global outlook, the partnership will support students and institutions seeking to engage more meaningfully with the evolving alternative-protein and future-food ecosystem.
“Where alternative-protein ground experience meets biotechnology depth—to help shape the next generation of future-food talent.”
More programmes and collaborations will be announced soon.
